Proposals
Understand the information behind a proposal and how revisions differ from resends.
A proposal brings together the customer requirement, the products or services you offer, pricing, and commercial terms in one document.
What goes into a proposal
| Information | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Customer and recipients | Who the proposal is for and who receives it |
| Products and services | What your business offers |
| Rate cards | The pricing rules used for the offer |
| Proposal template | The structure and presentation of the document |
Review the details
Check the scope, quantities, pricing, taxes, and terms before sending. Review the recipient details as carefully as the document content.
Revisions and resends
A sent version remains a record of the offer that was delivered. A revision creates a new version when the offer changes. A resend creates another delivery of the existing version.
Keep the customer context
Use the customer's requirement and your agreed scope when reviewing a revision. This overview explains the concepts; detailed step-by-step proposal guides will follow separately.
